's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, specializing in reel to reel plating service for the
electronic industry.
1978 Meco Equipment Engineers B.V. established to manufacture reel to reel selective
plating equipment.
1981 Meco Metal Finishing Engineers (H.K) Ltd. established in Hong kong as a reel
to reel plating facility for leadframes, to serve the Asia Pacific market.
1982 Meco Equipment U.S.A. Inc. established as sales and service organization for
Meco Equipment Engineers B.V.
1985 Meco Japan Co. ltd. established as sales and service organization for Meco
Equipment Engineers B.V.
1987 Meco Metal Finishing Inc. established in Rock Hill (SC) U.S.A. as reel
to reel plating facility for connectors, to serve the North American Connector market.
1989 Meco Equipment Engineers F.E. Singapore established as sales and service
organisation for Meco Equipment Engineers B.V.
1990 Meco Metal Finishing Engineers extends its plating facilities with a new plant in
Melaka, Malaysia
1995 Meco Metal Finishing Engineers and Meco Equipment Engineers acquired by
Berliner Electro and brought together with FICO (molding / trim form equipment)
in Be Semiconductor Industries B.V.
1997 Joint Venture between Meco Metal Finishing (30%) and Possehl Electronics (70%)
named Possehl BESI Electronics (PBE)
2001 Meco Metal Finishing share in PBE (30%) sold to Possehl Electronics.
